Flexible seating is an exciting and innovative way classrooms are beginning to transform using tools such as these requested Reading Pillows, Balance Ball Seats, and Wobble Chairs. These are all wonderful examples of this creative classroom vision. Studies show it empowers children in making good choices, such as where and how to work, and with whom. It helps move oxygen to get to the brain and gives students physical activity to keep their minds focused and alert. It also helps students to collaborate and to build a community within our classroom. And of course, it makes learning fun, which is exactly how it should be!
