The flexible seating options you helped provide—floor seats, chair bands, and wobble feet—have made a world of difference for my students.\r\n\r\nMy kids absolutely love them! The new seating gives students the freedom to choose where and how they learn best. Some prefer the cozy floor seats for reading or small-group work, while others use the wobble feet and chair bands to help stay focused during lessons. For many of my students with sensory needs or extra energy, these tools have been game-changers in helping them stay calm, regulated, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nBeyond the physical comfort, these additions have made our classroom feel more welcoming and inclusive. It's now a space where all students—no matter their learning style—can feel at home. Having this xylophone on wheels is absolutely the best, and it has become incredibly valuable to our program! The nitrogen filled height adjustable frame is way cooler and more convenient than I ever thought. It's very easy to adjust to the player in seconds. It works for my tallest percussion student, and my smallest! My students were so amazed to see it work right before their eyes. \"Wow, it's like magic!\" \"Is there really gas in the legs?\" My students really loved to put this instrument together. They were so curious to see what was in \"the big box\". Of course, they loved to play in the big box afterwards too! \r\n\r\nI'm very impressed with the sound quality that this instrument produces as well. The holes that go through the entire bar make them all project and resonate beautifully. From the lowest note to the highest, it's a very warm sound overall that you would not expect from bars made of synthetic materials. Yamaha really knows how to make a quality instrument sound great and last a long time. These drums add a whole new sound to our group. We have already used them in a choral concert where our percussion students played the background rhythm section. So fun to see that!\r\n\r\nThe first thing I noticed was the tone of this set of drums. It was easy to tune them, and they sounded so full and natural. It took a few moments to get them tuned up, but then we went right into it. It's neat to see my kids effortlessly pick up a guitar and play what I've already shown them. Reeds have become more expensive over the years. What was about twenty-five cents (when I played clarinet in the 4th grade), is now two to three dollars a reed, depending on the instrument! I have seen how that added expense has become a burden on certain families. Some homes just can't add that extra cost. One of my goals this year is that any student who wants to play an instrument should be able to, no matter what they are able to afford.\r\n\r\nThe Rovner ligatures have proven to be very helpful to my students. These ligatures are higher level accessories that hold the reed on tight to the mouthpiece. They are very strong and fit the mouthpiece perfectly. The one screw makes it easy for younger players to firmly attach the reed in the correct spot, which in turn makes the instrument play with a better quality tone. \r\n\r\nThanks to our donors' generosity, we have essential reeds and ligatures to enable my clarinet and saxophone players to make great music. We had a halloween parade performance shortly after these arrived, and my kids were thrilled to be the first to use them. \r\n\r\nThese beautiful snare drums have become very useful in our percussion lessons. I believe it's important for students to learn to play on real drums. Drum pads are nice and quiet, and they serve a purpose in my lessons, but I always try to have some \"real drum\" time during each lesson. There is a certain feel and sound that you can only get from playing actual drums.\r\n\r\nI love how versatile these drums are!
