After students read books and did their own research they then created their own books about their planet of choice. It was absolutely amazing to see how dedicated the students were to their books. \r\n\r\nWhen students are able to take ownership in their own learning, they become so much more invested and interested. This was 100% evident in our space unit this year! We then had a huge space-themed party where we invited other classes and educators to come and see and read our books.
