I know that learning about technology by reading books about it, and separated from their technology devices, will help my students develop a better understanding of using technology, being responsible, and learn about technology in the real world. The books will enhance and empower the learning in the technology classroom. All the books I am asking for are technology-based fiction and nonfiction. The content in the books will enable students to visualize the purpose, support the learning and support reasons for developing the 21st century technology skills that I am teaching in the classroom. Reading will enable my students to understand how important learning technology is, and that it is not just about social media and playing games. Reading will open my students minds and make them eager to learn all they can in my technology class. The books will teach my students the role technology has in their everyday lives and in their future careers.
