Noise cancelling headphones with a noise cancelling boom microphone will maximize their potential whether it be at home or in the classroom. Research shows that wearing any mask...ANY mask cuts off noise and alters the speech signal. Many teachers are wearing opaque masks. Students who are deaf/ hard of hearing will lose the access to visual cues and lip reading. These headphones will not solve the problem but be part of an accommodation to help them get access to the curriculum!
