The look on my students faces when they walked into the classroom on the day before Christmas break was something of pure joy. I'm pretty sure I heard about 100 thank you's during and after the opening. \r\nFor some of my students this was the highlight to their holiday season. Our project was an all inclusive art and music project which helped us get nearly 100% buy in from our 5th grade students and families in order to help motivate all of our 5th grade students to participate and have a sense of ownership in our performance. \r\n\r\nThe t-shirts you helped us purchase were made into tie-dye t-shirts as a project for our concert uniform. Students were able to make their shirts with teacher instruction and parent involvement in the music room during the Fall. Shirts were prepared and ready for our performance. We also were able to purchase black lights for the floor and battery operated lights to go inside our ukuleles with our school budget to complete our theme for our holiday concert \"Rockadellic Holiday.\" It was a huge project and huge hit with students, parents, and teachers. \r\n\r\nYour generous gift of support helped us to purchase a t-shirt for each student (approximately 100 students) and this was tremendously meaningful and we could not have done it without your help.
