My students have been using STEM toys to work together. I give them time in the morning to build, create and problem solve. I believe this is their favorite part of the day and I love that it gives them a chance to work on their social skills. I would love to incorporate this learning during literacy. Our day is so full and their isn't a lot of time for play. Children learn through play and they need it. This kit will give them an opportunity to play and use problem solving skills with popular fairy tales. Through this extension I am excited to also build on their comprehension.
