Generation Genius bridges that gap, allowing my students to witness real-world demonstrations and foster a deeper understanding of scientific concepts. \r\n Beyond the experiments, we've also embraced the opportunity to engage with Kahoot! games that reinforce and review the lessons in an interactive way. Students have printed game pieces to enhance their student-created board games, deepening their creativity and problem-solving skills. The kids absolutely love having the chance to use the variety of materials we've got, whether it's balls for games or jump ropes for physical activity. The outdoor space has really opened up new possibilities for play and learning, and it's been a great way to engage the students in more active, hands-on experiences during break time.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new supplies, their excitement was through the roof. They were thrilled by the variety of options, and it immediately sparked their interest in trying out different activities. From competitive games with balls to fun challenges with the jump ropes, their enthusiasm has been contagious. It's been such a rewarding experience to watch them dive into these activities and make the most out of the new materials.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the next steps for my students involve continuing to build on their outdoor sportsmanship and teamwork. We're focusing on developing better relationships with each other through group activities, and I'm excited to see how they grow in their ability to collaborate, communicate, and support one another while playing. It's not just about physical activity, it's about learning important social skills that they can carry into all areas of life.","fullyFundedDate":1731915067026,"projectUrl":"project/room-supplies/8923207/","projectTitle":"Room Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stump","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8439686_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1698000345540","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8439686"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_20019","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1365,"numTeachers":51,"percentFrplEligible":53,"percentAsian":16,"percentBlack":14,"percentWhite":54,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"4 - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"26.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":69.1,"schoolId":20019,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Kitley Intermediate School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Kitley Intermediate School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/indiana/franklin-township-community-school-corporation/kitley-intermediate-school/20019"}
