The donations for this project will improve my classroom by reducing the amount of behavioral issues, because the students will be able to wiggle and wobble appropriately without being a distraction. The money will go towards purchasing wobble stools. These stools help with stability and allow the students to move while sitting. The money will also go towards Bouncy Bands. These are bands that attach to the legs of classroom chairs. The bands allow the children to bounce and move their legs while sitting and not causing distraction. They will be able to concentrate better due to the fact they aren't having to constantly sit still. Children do not get enough time through the day to get their energy out. Sometimes, this can make learning hard. By having these items in my class, they will be able to move while learning at the same time!! I have a classroom full of children with ADHD, and these are perfect for them.
