Kailua High School's students are drawn to this comfortable seating area where they can play games and charge their phones. What they don't realize is that the activities they are engaged in are designed to make them interact with each other! Before this space, students would come to the library and sit at the tables, engrossed in individual activities on their phones. Now they pull out the games housed in the coffee table, and discuss, strategize, problem-solve, laugh, and have a great time together!\r\n\r\nThe only problem with this space is that there is only one! Students rush to the library, only to be sometimes disappointed to find it already occupied. However, even this problem yielded desirable results -- two groups of students who ordinarily may have been unlikely to socialize with each other came together to share the space!
