Some of my students gathered around the boxes in my office with huge smiles, pulling out books and plush emotion dolls like treasures. One student whispered, \"This makes me feel calm, peaceful, and understood.\" That alone showed me how meaningful your gift truly is.\r\n\r\nThe container are used for storing some of my calming tools, books, and SEL games. The rolling cart is used for my small group/individual counseling time because it stores a lot of my Social-Emotional Learning activities.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students the tools to understand themselves and care for one another. The art room here is small but mighty in the students it serves on a daily basis. The rainbow carpet has given us another usable space in the art room that otherwise was not usable before! Students are able to bring a clipboard and work closely to the board, I am able to have closer class discussions with students there, and for dismissal time we are able to spread out more comfortably to wait to go home. \r\nThe rubber mats that I have in the back of the classroom are also an absolute essential! That you for providing this for us. It has also added comfort to the room, but not only comfort but SAFETY! I no longer worry now about water spills near the sink creating a slip hazard. We are safe and dry thanks to this flooring solution. \r\nLastly, by donating to this project, I am so grateful to you most impotantly for the SUPPORT I was shown with this project. It was a hit with the new games. They immediately asked when they would game day again. Students immediately dove into Machi Koro and quickly learned how to navigate how they could monopolize resources and outwit their peers. Another favorite was Ticket to Ride where students raced to claim the biggest and longest routes on the game board.\r\n My independent thinkers really loved Rush Hour and Atlantis Escape. These solo games allow my non competitive learners to work at their own pace. \r\n Outnumbered and Mustachio are games that students want to try out next time. I am so grateful for your generosity and I wish you could have seen their excitement when I debutted the new games. These games are more than just an opportunity to collaborate with others. These games require quick wit, skill development, logical thinking, and strategic plays.
