These items have helped our classroom feel more comfortable, colorful and safe as we are a Title I school. \r\n\r\nThe classroom rug has brought us together for deep and fun conversions, that include learning about each other and working through our Wisconsin State Standards. The students also use the rug for flexible seating during our Math and ELA centers. They love the ability to move around the classroom instead of always sitting at their desks. \r\n\r\nThe Play-Doh has created a fun station for our brain breaks! We also have used the Play-Doh to form number sentences. The students are able to be hands on while doing their work. They are able to visually see their math which is helping their academics easier for them. The students have also been able to use their snacks when they are hungry which helps them be able to focus. \r\nThe students were very excited to get the new resources. My students love playing the games not only with each other but with me as well. It is such a joy to watch them be kids and operate out side of survival mode.
