The Lancaster School Art Room is in year two of the Turnaround Arts Program. After ten years of no art or music in the school, the school is improving with both behaviors and academics. Our school is becoming known as a performance school culminating with a professional grade spring musical. In February, our Black History Month Program showcases a lot of the talent that is being refined in both the music room and art room. Every year my art room is a place where our students, ranging from grades K4-8th grade, learn to cooperate with one another, build strong concentration muscles, gain skills, and build their confidence to achieve anything.
