I picked some bean bag chairs that I can use to create flexible seating options in my classroom. A lot of my students have problems going on outside of the classroom and I'm hoping that by making my room a comfortable and relaxing place for my students to be that they can focus more on what's happening in my room than what's going on outside of the room. I think being comfortable in the classroom and having options for seating so you can find what works best for your learning is one of the best gifts we can give our students. Having a space in the school building where students have more freedom in their seating options while they learn is something that I believe is really powerful and effective at helping student success! These bean bag chairs will help me create that space.
