The book fair was the highlight because of all the ways the items from your donation made it even more special. Students were able to find books to take home and then sit in comfortable seating, on soft rugs, and in the relaxing ambience of the light covers, and begin to fall in love with their new books.\r\nI am also happy to report that one of the most used items in our library is the rotating bookshelf! It is mostly due to the fact that it houses our graphic novel section, but my younger patrons also enjoy it just as a fun way to experience books. \r\nAll of your support has been so integral in helping to create a library in which students have the opportunity to fall in love with reading and stories. Thank you for your support and generosity! \r\n\r\nWith the pencils and dry erase markers we were able to continue our phonics lessons with our dry erase boards and continue writing in our reading response notebooks. I remember them being so excited when we received these supplies, especially the new markers! \r\n\r\nOur older headphones were also in disrepair and so many of our scholars just went without them. This made using computers and taking our assessments challenging because we did not have enough headphones for our class. Now students can be on computers with new headphones and they are also learning to take care of them, too! \r\n\r\nI am always in awe of the generosity of Donors Choose angels!
