Because of your generosity, my fourth-grade students now have access to hands-on STEM materials and classroom organization tools that have already made a big difference in how they learn and collaborate.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were incredibly excited. As we opened the boxes together, they immediately began asking questions and brainstorming what they could build. Many students who are usually quiet during traditional lessons quickly became leaders during our STEM time, sharing ideas and helping their classmates solve problems.\r\n\r\nOne of the first activities we completed was a bridge engineering challenge using the STEM bridge building set. Students worked in small groups to design and test bridges that could hold the most weight. They sketched their ideas, built prototypes, tested them, and then revised their designs. The room was filled with excitement as students cheered each other on and celebrated when a bridge held more weight than expected.\r\n\r\nThe Snap Circuits kits have also become a favorite during STEM centers. Students love seeing how different pieces connect to create working circuits. Watching their faces light up when a fan spins or a light turns on has been incredible.\r\n\r\nThe magnetic tiles and building engineering center have encouraged collaboration and creativity. Students often work together to design structures, problem-solve when something collapses, and improve their designs.\r\n\r\nThe headphones and paper bins have helped our classroom run more smoothly as well. Students can now focus better during independent work and digital learning, and our organized supply system helps them take responsibility for materials and station areas.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, my students are learning that STEM is about curiosity, creativity, and persistence.
