Thanks to this project, students got to light up a bit when they walked in the room. At each testing station was a fidget, a personal note and a pile of Bon Bon Bum's and Sour Patch kids waiting for them. First, they were like \"miss, is this for us?!\" It was so delightful to see them smiling as they settled in, I don't know if I have ever seen that before. I reminded them how to use fidgets and how sour candy can help with anxiety and to be responsible because they were testing tools. Of course, students respectfully and responsibly used the supplies during testing; it was heartwarming to see them acknowledge what they needed & take care of themselves. Thank you for making a normally dreadful season a little brighter.
