Ask almost any reader what they love about reading and most likely they will describe the beauty of a book and exactly how it feels in their hands. As my students learn English as an additional language, we will be virtual and with limited resources, that means they might not get to learn to read with a book in their hand. Books, in print, will allow students to navigate at their own pace and away from a screen. My language learners deserve the full experience of falling in love with a book. Help me send a book to each of their homes!
