Each student got to use a whole set of black liner pens in a range of different tip sizes. One pen even features a brush tip, which is a favorite among our artists.\r\n\r\nWith individual access to the full range of pen sizes, students were able to create a larger variety in line and mark quality. This gave them more artistic possibilities to choose from and experiment with. This also means more learning and expanded capacity for self-expression!\r\n\r\nThe drawings they created explored specific street scenes of Los Angeles, re-envisioned as a utopia. The drawings showcase their many skills: linear perspective, gesture line, contour line, texture, pattern and tonal value... not to mention visualization and imagination!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for contributing.
