My classrooms are housed in a modular building a little ways away from our main school where all of the main supplies are. So whenever we need to make copies, whether black and white or color, we have to walk to the main building to do these things. Also, if we need just a quick copy we have had nothing in or near our classroom to do these things.\r\n\r\nI have wanted a printer in my classroom for a few years now, but it is a luxury that I was not able to afford. I have thought about attempting to find a way to obtain a printer for awhile and then Donors Choose popped upon my Facebook timeline. I have been lucky to have obtained items from Donors Choose before and I decided that this may be the best way to get a printer for our classroom.\r\n\r\nI am now able to print worksheets, art sheets all the things we need to utilize on a daily basis. We don't have to disrupt our routine and wait while we have to run to the main building to make copies. It has been so helpful. We are able to stay on task and maintain our routine. I can make preparations throughout the day when I need to rather than wait to find an opportunity to go to the main building. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for donating to this project. I love listening to them talk about all the different parks. Having books that your particular students can relate to is so important in a school library. \r\n\r\nMy hope is that they will be excited as the books and make plans to visit each national park someday. If not, as it is not always possible for some students to travel, at least they have visited them in their reading journey.
