Our character crew includes: Helpful Horse, Peaceful Parrot, Trying Tiger, Respectful Rhino, Leadership Lion, Kindness Koala, and Responsible Raccoon.\r\n\r\nWhen I notice a student demonstrating one of these characteristics, I secretly place the matching \"Caring Cuddle Crew\" friend on their table. When the class returns from Specials (art, music, P.E., media), recess, or lunch, they discover the surprise!\r\n\r\nI then share with the class why the lucky student was chosen and what caring behavior they showed.
