Children all over the world see and experience so much each day. Their reactions and emotions throughout each day are normal but what happens when they do not know how to manage those emotions? My goal is to help students understand the different feelings and emotions they may have and how to positively cope with their emotions. The books I have chosen will be used in classroom, small group, and one-on-one instruction to help students see themselves in the stories they read. As characters work through their emotions, I want students to join them in feeling confident and successful as they become problem solvers. Please help my expand my students' understanding and social-emotional skills!

About my class
