The magnetic easel whiteboard has become a central tool during small groups and makes teaching easier. The clipboards have made it possible for students to write, draw, and engage in activities both inside the classroom and outdoors. Having level readers for our young readers provides an avenue for engaging in texts and improving our reading ability. I plan to use the books from this project to provide more resources for my readers to practice their reading daily. They need a tremendous amount of support throught literacy to make gains in their reading ability. These toys (such as the ball tower, the cause and effect toys, and fruit cutting) helped increase engagement and interest, as the hands-on nature of the toys captured their attention and made the activities more enjoyable. As a result, students became more willing to participate and actively engage in learning. The variety of materials made speech therapy feel less intimidating and more accessible, encouraging students to communicate without fear. Over time, this approach led to noticeable improvements in their speech and communication skills, as they were more motivated and confident in their ability to express themselves.\r\n\r\nMy students love these toys and are excited to play with them every time I provide speech services. They always ask to play with certain toys during their therapy and I find ways to use them (describing characteristics or features of toy, work on prepositions, simple noun-verb phrases, and articulation).\r\n\r\nI am going to continue using the toys and materials provided to me in my therapy sessions. I want to figure out other ways in which I can use them to continue engagement. These items have been positively impacting the learning process in my therapy and have helped me so much in transporting them from classroom to classroom. So thank you again to all the donors!
