My students come from a variety of backgrounds. We have many English Language Learners in our classroom. Some students receive free or reduced lunch due to low socio-economic Status. Many students never attended pre-school and Kindergarten was only a half day. They are a bright group of children who need extra practice to master the skills necessary for first grade.
