The attention span of a 5 year old is about 10 minutes, and that's if they are not looking for their book, a pencil, or the correct crayon. We complete many activities and lessons throughout the day. Each time students must leave their seat to get materials or pack papers to take home is time away from learning. My students would benefit from chair bags at each seat by having quick and easy access to their individual materials. My classroom would also benefit from the Wobble Chair as alternative seating for students who have difficulty remaining focused on learning in traditional chairs. Finally, my students would greatly benefit from Chromebooks as a resource for allowing access to many enrichment materials and core standards reinforcement.
