The Alphabet Mystery Box was also an instant hit and our youngest learners look forward to practicing their letter sounds each week using this fun game. The front-facing bookshelf has also become a favorite spot—our readers love sitting right beside it to browse the beautiful covers and choose books that truly excite them. With the new headphones, all students have increased access to quiet reading time, audiobooks, and read-alongs, and they were thrilled by the bright colors and how comfortable they feel!\r\n\r\nOne of the most joyful moments came when students discovered the new chess sets! The kids who already knew how to play were excited to challenge one another and their enthusiasm has been infectious - more and more students are now learning the game so they can join in on the fun and strategy happening at the chess tables. Students have been practicing patience, strategy, and focus during their library visits, and it's incredible to see how quickly they've taken to the game!\r\n\r\nThe calming tools, along with the vacuum and cleaning supplies, have helped create a library that is cleaner, more welcoming, and better suited for regrouping and recharging. The space feels even more peaceful and responsive to our community's needs and has already become an even more welcoming place for both learning and community events.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our current lessons and projects, students will build on their growing literacy skills, explore more independent reading, and dive deeper into creative thinking and collaboration.
