The use of these materials will create a meaningful Interactive Science Notebook and allow students to gain ownership over their education. These materials will provide supports for students to interactively engage with content regularly. I chose glue and scissors in order for them to have basic materials to cut and paste into their notebooks. In addition, bilingual dictionaries with images will allow my English Language Learners to build background knowledge within the content. Headphones will also allow instruction to be in various formats for the various types of learners within our classroom. The best way for students to learn is through their own wonderings and explorations, and these materials will be able to provide them access into doing so.
