These board games are a wonderful addition to our classroom experience. At Harbor City International School we emphasize the Five R's throughout learning. They are Relationship, Respect, Responsibility, Reach and Resilience. When my students play these games together, they are building community and directly working on relationship and respect. By following the rules and playing fair, they are practicing life skills by working with their peers that they will be able to use long after high school. These games also bring some fun to the classroom. Students spend a majority of the time working hard and it is nice to have a break once in a while with their friends. My students and I are so appreciative of your contribution, thank you again!
