The moment they learned the project had been funded, they were eager to jump right in and start creating. Their enthusiasm has been contagious, and it's even pushed me to grow alongside them so I can keep up with their curiosity and creativity.\r\n\r\nMy 4th and 5th graders have been diving into Tinkercad, a user-friendly 3-D design program, where they're learning about measurements, shapes, and the tools needed to bring their ideas to life. We're just reaching the stage where students will collaborate in groups to design and build a storage solution to solve a real-world problem, and the excitement is building every day.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and recognizing how important it is for them to be creative while applying math in meaningful, hands-on ways. We've already printed what feels like a zillion fidgets, and through that process, students have become deeply engaged in understanding design and how small changes can make a big difference.\r\n\r\nYour generosity is making a lasting impact, and we are so grateful!","fullyFundedDate":1768410913281,"projectUrl":"project/making-math-come-alive-with-3d-printing/9899406/","projectTitle":"Making Math Come Alive With 3D Printing","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Moore","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8816490_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y675&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1675734650441","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8816490"},{"teacherId":4038491,"projectId":9292673,"letterContent":"My class has enjoyed reading these novels! I think it's helpful and important to have many different tools to process these feelings. Whether that is art supplies, books, or just stories for them to find themselves in.
