Help my first classroom of 3rd graders get all they need and more from the incorporation of an iPad and comfy stools for group-work! As a first-year teacher heading into year 1, I am so excited to work with my group of 26 3rd graders. However, I know that in order to fully prepare them for the 21st-century world we live in, having access to an iPad is huge. I also know that access to technology is a big equity piece, and for that reason I hope to offer all my students regardless of socioeconomic status the opportunity to use tools such as this iPad in our class. The additional add-ons such as the Learning Resource pencils and carpet dots will help our class run smoothly throughout the year and encourage effective collaboration. As a novice teacher starting from scratch, I am hoping to leverage the resources of wonderful donors to help my classroom community be as supportive and engaging as it can. My kids and I thank you in advance for your support!
