Using them helps them build confidence and try new designs. I see enlist hours of fun designing and building for all grades K-5. My students cheered the first time we used the wireless mouse. Using them makes my students feel freedom when designing on their Chromebooks and helps with cords not getting tangled. \r\n\r\nThe first project we used them for our Indigenous People Minecraft project. We read a fiction story about a boy Kitchi and the belief of the spirit animal world. Next each student sketched a picture of the scenes from the story. Then we used the sketch to build a retell of the entire story including all the characters and setting in Minecraft. Building in Minecraft was easier using the wireless mouse.
