I have no words to describe how grateful my students and I are. The students are using all these materials during recess as well as before and after school! I was doing my lunch duty and I had time to just go outside for the 2nd grade recess and all the girls grabbed a jump rope and started playing with them. It made so happy seeing them have fun at recess, as for the older kids 5th grade saw the kickball set and started playing and had fun. Each grade level has been using the soccer balls or basketball and just having fun!\r\n\r\nWhen the students realized we had a ton of jump ropes they made 2 little jump rope groups where they were playing mouse trap or seeing who can jump for the longest amount. The 4th graders realized that they no longer needed to take their soccer ball from home they can use the one I provided!\r\n\r\nMy next goal is getting wiggle seats for my fourth grade students. I currently have one and it was gifted to me. These little cushion helped one of my students focus and now all of them want one 🤣. My goal is to at least get 5 for my students. I think this will help them more in class because my student already knows he can focus more when he uses the wiggle seat. \r\n\r\nOnce again I want to thank each of you for helping me fund this project. Many students could not wait to try out the flexible seating options and explore the new classroom tools. Some students who are normally shy or hesitant became instantly more comfortable and eager to participate. It was such a special moment to watch them feel proud, safe, and excited about learning in their classroom.\r\n\r\nThe new resources have already become an important part of our daily routine. Students are using the cozy seating during independent reading time, small group work, and collaborative projects. The flexible and comfortable environment has helped students stay focused longer, work more cooperatively with peers, and feel more relaxed during lessons. I have especially noticed students taking more ownership of their learning because they now have a classroom space that feels inviting and designed with their needs in mind.\r\n\r\nOne particularly memorable moment happened during a recent reading and writing activity. Students spread out across the classroom using the flexible seating while working on personal narrative stories. The room was calm, productive, and full of creativity. Students who often struggle to stay engaged remained focused for much longer periods of time, and many were eager to share their writing aloud with classmates. It truly showed how a comfortable and engaging environment can positively impact both confidence and academic success.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, your donations have also helped strengthen our classroom community. Students are learning how to work respectfully in shared spaces, communicate with one another, and support each other during collaborative activities. The classroom now feels like a place where every child belongs and can succeed.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through the school year, these resources will support many more exciting lessons and projects. My students and I appreciate your help greatly. Once I got the magnetic letters, I got to put their individual magnetic trays together. Each student gets to use a magnetic tray now. During our phonics block, my practice the letter name and sound they are learning for that day. Then, they get to spell words that contain that letter sound. When its time for their word work, students are able to use their magnetic boards individually. I give them a word, and using the sounds they know, students They use the magnetic letters to build words and sound out each sound to blend and make words!
