Our wonderful students need headphones to hear educational content within the classroom. With Covid and the need for our students to have access to technology, our first graders need headphones that work and fit their heads. They have educational apps and digital books that they use to learn, practice skills, and work on digital projects. The need for listening to books being read to them or phonics sounds during practice is vital to bridging the gap and giving them access to grade level material and content. They also need to access educational platforms that our district uses to create projects and practice 21st century skills. They will need to be able to record and listen to each other's responses and projects. The microphone will also allow access to features such as speech to text and foster conversations, which will support our special education and English Learners.
