I have spent many hours downloading files of decodable readers, cross referencing each decodable reader with the Science of Reading scope and sequence, and printing leveled decodable readers for my students. This project is far from completed but I have made huge strides the past few months. My goal is to have this project completed by mid-January. \r\n\r\nThis set of decodable readers will be used for the students to check-out and take home to share with their families. Most of these decodable readers I have in a digital file that students may access through Google Classroom however, it is very important to me to put these readers in the hands of my students. \r\n\r\nThese decodable readers support the concepts they are working on in small group lessons. These decodable readers have given my students the opportunity to practice independently, or with a peer, on the skills that have been taught. My students are excited about reading and are thriving. They have learned to read with great confidence, fluency, and with expression.\r\n\r\nMy heart is bursting with joy over my students eagerness to be successful readers.
