We are so grateful for your support and are excited to share how this technology is already making a profound difference in our students' learning journey.\r\n\r\nMany of you use technology at home for research or to connect with family, and you might be curious about how we're using it in a classroom setting. The biggest shift we've seen is that the iPad isn't just for looking up information; it's a powerful tool for creating and collaborating. Our students are now able to work on group projects in ways that weren't possible before. Instead of huddling around a single computer screen, they can now pass the iPad around as they each contribute their own ideas, research, and creative input to a shared project. This has fostered a truly dynamic and interactive learning environment.\r\n\r\nWhen it comes to what excites the students most, it's the ability to tell stories through film. The opportunity to plan, film, and edit their own commercials has been a game-changer. Suddenly, a research project on a historical event transforms into a mini-documentary, or a science concept is explained in a creative, engaging video. They are acting as directors, writers, and editors, and the pride they take in their final product is truly inspiring. The new product is exciting for them because it gives them creative control and a new, active way to express their understanding of a topic.\r\n\r\nThis technology has been especially impactful for several students. For example, one of our more reserved students, who was often hesitant to speak up in class, has found a remarkable voice behind the camera. By focusing on the technical side of filming and editing on the iPad, they have been able to contribute to group projects in a significant and meaningful way, building confidence and showcasing a hidden talent. Another student, who learns best through hands-on activity, is thriving with the interactive apps and tools on the iPad that allow for visual and tactile engagement with the material.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for believing in our students and providing them with the tools they need to succeed in a digital world. Your generosity has unlocked new possibilities and opened up a world of creativity and collaboration in our classroom.\r\n\r\nWith sincere appreciation,","fullyFundedDate":1746500030398,"projectUrl":"project/voices-of-tomorrow-amplifying-student/9256998/","projectTitle":"\"Voices of Tomorrow: Amplifying Student Perspectives Through Multimedia Storytelling\"","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rosenberg","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8065561_orig.jpg?crop=1415,1415,x0,y316&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1641677377030","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8065561"},{"teacherId":4313131,"projectId":9486212,"letterContent":"When my students first received the new headphones, binders, folders, and writing supplies, their excitement was immediate. Many of them commented that the materials made them feel \"more like real test-takers,\" which boosted their confidence. The headphones, in particular, have transformed our ACT practice sessions. Students now work through listening and reading comprehension exercises with greater focus and fewer distractions, which has improved both their stamina and accuracy.\r\n\r\nWe're using the binders and folders to organize practice tests, scoring sheets, and strategy notes. For example, in one recent project, students tracked their progress across multiple timed practice sections by filing completed tests in their binders. This allowed them to highlight recurring mistakes and build personalized study goals. The pencils and pens have also been essential—students use pencils for timed practice sections, just like the real exam, and pens to annotate passages, circle key strategies, and take notes in their binders.\r\n\r\nThe day we introduced these materials, students were genuinely energized. A few even said it felt like \"test prep just got real,\" and that having professional tools made them feel more prepared and respected as learners. One student who often struggles with organization was especially proud to show off a neatly arranged binder full of practice tests and improvement notes.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to build on this momentum by working through a full-length, timed ACT practice exam in class. Students will then use their binders to reflect on their scores, identify patterns in mistakes, and write short action plans for how to improve in the next round of practice. These resources have given us the foundation to approach the ACT with structure, confidence, and focus—and we're excited to see continued growth in the weeks ahead.","fullyFundedDate":1755874723258,"projectUrl":"project/building-a-foundation-with-basics/9486212/","projectTitle":"Building A Foundation with Basics","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Murphy","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4313131_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753106335273","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-kimmurphy"},{"teacherId":1562637,"projectId":9598488,"letterContent":"I personally want to thank you for purchasing the cleaning supplies.
