Leaning how to become successful through overcoming our challenges. This is a Special Education high school class. We learn how to become independent and successful in our daily lives. We learn how to read directions on a recipe and how to cook. Students learn how to wash clothes and how to locate food in a supermarket. We grow every day by learning how to count money and make transactions. Students work towards learning how to meet new friends and how to become socially acceptable in our society. We are striving to gain independence skills that will enable us to live independent lives.
