With these resources, they were able to dive right into hands-on entrepreneurship—conducting market research, sketching design ideas, experimenting with prototypes, and learning firsthand what it means to turn an idea into something real and sellable. One of my favorite moments was watching a group debate the best color combinations for their keychain line, using survey results they had collected from classmates to guide their decisions. It was a perfect blend of creativity, collaboration, and data-driven thinking.\r\nYour generosity made it possible for students to work like true entrepreneurs. They used the materials to analyze costs, determine profit margins, and make critical pricing decisions that mirrored real-world business challenges. Many students commented that they had never realized how many steps were involved in creating a single product or how important customer feedback is in shaping a final design. Their sense of ownership has grown tremendously—students are proud of the products they've created, and even prouder of the fact that they built them from start to finish.\r\nWe are now moving into the next phase of the project: launching their products in the school store and tracking their sales. Students are preparing promotional materials, developing marketing strategies, and practicing how to explain their products to customers. After the sales period, they'll reflect on what they learned, what they would change, and which strategies were most effective. There was a lot of buzz as we unpacked the boxes and tuned them for the first time — a few students even started trying to strum right away to see what sounds they could make. It was such a fun moment to watch them dive in and realize that they were about to become musicians.\r\n\r\nSince then, we've begun learning basic strumming patterns, chord transitions, and simple songs. One of my favorite moments so far was hearing the class successfully play through an entire song together for the first time. The room was filled with laughter, pride, and a real sense of accomplishment.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to keep building our chord library and start writing short class songs. Soon, students will perform for each other in small groups and showcase what they've learned. Because these Lego sets were part of the 3 in 1 series, students who finished early were able to disassemble their birds and build a different animal. \r\n The use of LEGO sets in the curriculum has had a great impact on increasing student engagement. Plus, the Lego Build the Change lesson units are very interesting, and the kids really learn a great deal. There are many different ones that lend themselves to inclusion in multiple disciplines.\r\n We could not have had these sets without your kind and generous donations, and my students and I greatly appreciate it.
