The timing of delivery was perfect: The scooters arrived the day we were doing our Scooter Games. Kindergarten and 1st Grade worked on basic Scooter Driving and focused on being safe. They all earned their Scooter Driving License! 2nd Grade through 5th Grade played a Scooter Game that is a huge favorite at this school, so they were pumped to find out that we had new scooters donated (the old scooters were old and in bad shape). \r\nPictures will provide a small sense of the excitement, but overall the students were very pleased and pumped to see the new scooters. I explained to the students that a very special person took time to donate these scooters to our school and we will have them for a long time. \r\nAs a teacher, it really means a lot to see community members give back to young students who might not have a lot in their household. Many students find joy and excitement inside our school, so any donation like this helps to increase that happiness.
