These engaging building centers teach students to look closer at real-life designs and make original structures that use the same important elements. They will encourage open-ended building with minimal teacher involvement. These centers will give students a chance to build, explore, and engineer. Each center will come with photo cards that show actual bridges ,vehicles, and buildings. Students will have a chance to build and also use hands on manipulatives. This project will allow students to go to a center while the teacher is in a small group. They will not need direction from the teacher.
