Every year I use StoryWorks in the classroom as part of my small groups. To save money, I reuse issues over the years and have multiple groups share the copies as I find stories and articles that relate to other areas we are learning about and can make connections to. The kids love these magazines and even the most reluctant readers become engaged and interested! With the circumstances surrounding returning to school amid the COVID pandemic, I will not be able to have students sharing issues or reusing copies, at least not within 72 hours of each other. In order to still use StoryWorks effectively this year, I will ideally need a copy for each individual student. This will allow students to take copies home with them on their remote learning days and will not limit me to only certain students having access to a particular article because I cannot share copies this year. I am asking for help in ordering StoryWorks (and StoryWorks Jr. for my lower level readers) so that I can hopefully continue inspiring a love of reading, even with my most reluctant readers. Thank you so much if you are able to help!
