These donations allowed us to setup our classroom library in a way that made the space inviting and comfortable for the children to enjoy. Now that materials are able to be stored in a way that is organized and easily accessible the children are spending more time reading it only to themselves but to each other. It has become the most requested space to be in.\r\nThe seat pockets have made maintain their materials, resources and supplies much easier and has cut down on transition time between subjects. It has quickly become the heart of our learning space. My students use it for morning meetings, read-alouds, partner activities, and small-group lessons. One of my favorite moments happened the very first day we unrolled it—my students immediately gathered around, touching the soft colors and excitedly claiming \"their\" spot. Their faces lit up as they realized this was a special place just for them to learn, read, and connect as a classroom community.\r\n\r\nThe rug has already made a tremendous difference in the way we learn together. Students who often struggled to stay focused during floor activities now have a comfortable, defined space that helps them stay calm and engaged. During our first lesson on the rug, we practiced story sequencing with picture cards, and I watched even my most hesitant students participate confidently. The rug has become a space where they feel safe, welcomed, and included.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students a learning environment that supports both comfort and collaboration. I have never see a group of students so eager to read and complete work, it's a struggle to get them out and back to their seats because they want to be there all day long! Our new leveled library and cozy seating have completely transformed independent reading! I created a wow work wall for students whenever they complete their independent reading to show off their work! We used our new materials to practice identifying main ideas and key details, and they were so proud to display their work. \r\n\r\n Next, my students will use the new books and clipboards to dive deeper into their small group projects; writing! They'll be practicing how to summarize stories and explain the main idea to their classmates as if they were the teacher. Thanks to these resources from the Stahl Family, they now have the tools and the space to work independently and confidently. I've been able to establish strong routines and procedures in our classroom that make reading feel exciting instead of like a chore. The students did not think the seating was there to stay. \r\n\r\nOne of the best moments for me was when one of the students who is not a huge fan of coming to school asked about using one of the flexible seating chairs. I told them yes of course they were allowed to sit in one of them.
