This classroom is my students first experience in school. The classroom needs to set the tone for what learning and getting along with others is all about. It needs to be fun, inviting and conductive to learning. Creativity is intelligence having fun. The art easel will allow them to explore their creativity and feel proud of their work. The sofa and soft seats will help make the reading center a relaxing and fun place where they can read with friends. The sand and water tables will stimulate their senses while they play, create, investigate and explore. The two rugs will help to divide specific learning areas such as the reading and Lego. Like I mention earlier, what my students learn in this classroom will become part of who they are.
