With the adoption of the Florida Standards, Social Studies has become embedded within Reading as informational text. Oftentimes, this means Social Studies gets pushed to the side, especially because the most effective informational text materials aren't provided to classroom teachers. Non-Fiction, Geographical and Historical based reading materials are exactly what these students need to become exemplary readers and members of society. Please help us by donating reading materials to help us learn about the Geography and History of our great state and country!
