I showed him the reading pen, how to use it, and discussed how he could use it in class. It took a bit of practice for us both. He went to get the book that he was \"reading\" during independent reading time in class and told me he was happy he could finally find out what the book is about. I especially love that this one comes with ear buds, so he can use it in class without other students hearing the audio.\r\n\r\nI reserved the second reading pen for a current 4th grader, but I have other students who may need it even more than he does.
