The tall whiteboard has quickly become the center of our small-group reading lessons. My 4th–5th grade students use it to break apart challenging words, highlight key details in passages, and identify the main idea. Being able to see and interact with strategies on a large board helps students stay engaged and better understand the skills we are practicing.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited when they saw the new whiteboard! Several immediately asked if they could write on it first. They love coming up to the board to share their thinking, circle important words, and work through reading strategies together.\r\n\r\nRight now, we are working on finding the main idea and supporting details in nonfiction texts. Math Game, and Dominoes. When the materials first arrived, the students were so excited they immediately wanted to explore each game. Their energy and curiosity were contagious, and it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for learning math in such a hands-on way.\r\nWe've been using the games during small group lessons and math centers to practice addition, subtraction, and number sense. One memorable moment was watching a group of students work together to complete a domino chain while practicing their math facts — they were cheering and encouraging each other the entire time! The Pop to Win! game and Grab & Play resources have also made practice more interactive, helping students stay engaged while building important skills.\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue to use these games to reinforce key math concepts, strengthen fluency, and encourage collaboration and problem-solving. The writing tablets have been a big hit during small group lessons — students love using them to show their work, erase quickly, and try again without fear of mistakes. Math Bingo has turned skill practice into a fun challenge that builds both confidence and teamwork.
