Technology has become an important component of everyday life including elementary classrooms. My students have school-issued Chrome-books and use them on a daily basis throughout the day for a variety of instruction. Since students and instructors are required to wear masks in the classroom, it is often difficult to hear what is being said from a distance. Headphones would not only allow my students to clearly hear the information, but they would also reduce the distractions that occur when each child is speaking at the same time. In addition, this would enhance learning by enabling each child to develop independent work skills, progressing at his/her own pace. Not only will they be able to utilize the earbuds in the classroom, but they can also use them at home when practicing their math facts and literacy skills!
