This year with your help and with the help of our school principal seeing the assistance from an outside donor we have been able use only sustainable materials from start to finish. It starts with the bags which are incredibly sturdy and washable so students are able to use them throughout the year. It extended to our principal purchasing reusable gloves for all the students as well. We have a no waste program officially and the students feel that ownership and are proud of this. The supplies are such that we have extras as they wear out for a long term goal of maintaining this setup. \r\n\r\nThe students loved being able to choose their colors and were excited that the bags were so sturdy and easy to carry. Students collect recycling from 100 participating classrooms every Monday as part of their class responsibilities.
