Because of your support, I was able to create a calm corner in my classroom and provide new sports equipment for my students to enjoy during their breaks.\r\n\r\nThe rolling utility cart has been perfect for organizing our calm-corner materials—it neatly holds the timer, fidgets, and calming books students can choose from. The bungee folding chair has quickly become a favorite spot for students who need a moment to reset. The sand timer also gives them an easy, visual way to understand how much break time they have.\r\n\r\nThe electric pencil sharpener has been a daily blessing. It keeps our pencils sharp quickly and efficiently, and the students absolutely love using it. With limited outlets in my instruction area, the new power strip has also made a huge difference in helping me manage all the cords I rely on.\r\n\r\nDuring outside breaks, the students are always excited to use the new sports equipment. Soccer and football have been the most popular choices, and the volleyball, frisbee, and jump rope have been well-loved, too. Unfortunately, the volleyball broke early on, but while it lasted, it brought the kids a lot of joy. Overall, the equipment has encouraged teamwork, cooperation, and plenty of fun.\r\n\r\nThank you again for supporting my classroom and helping create meaningful experiences for my students. Some days, I have to tell students they will have to wait until the next class to read because we had more students who wanted to read than reading parts. \r\nThat is a wonderful problem to have! :-)\r\n I know that as the year progresses, I will have even more students become more comfortable and \"brave\". We also tied that into our new state law on phones being banned in the schools.\r\n Another article the students enjoyed was, \"Too Many Camels?\". A recent lab activity, for example, was much more productive and engaging because students were comfortable and could easily participate without the distraction of wobbly or damaged stools.\r\n\r\nThe arrival of the new stools was met with genuine enthusiasm.
