This project will provide more opportunities and material for students to read in the classroom. This will help them outside the classroom as they enjoy reading and therefore read more. The students will have more understanding and capability in reading. Reading can transform from something that is hard and they don't enjoy, into something that they have confidence in themselves for doing. In the spare moments in class, I will provide students time to simply read and choose books from the options that I have for them. Reading will set them up for success. I would love for students to see that they are capable. That they can and will move mountains if they are willing to work hard. I would love for them to experience and get excited about learning. Books that provide this stamina, learning opportunity, and momentum are the kinds of books that I am stalking my shelves with.
