Our old bean bag was very sad and almost flat as a piece of paper. The new bean bag has been a great addition to morning circle as alternative seating, a library reading chair, and a calming area. It moves around, and the students love it. \r\nThe spinning chair was a great sensory item that was needed in our room. Rainy days are hard for some of our littles who need to move around. This was a great option for them. Many students who are usually hesitant to participate became engaged and excited to express themselves through art.\r\n\r\nOne memorable project involved students creating personalized artwork that reflected their interests, goals, and what makes them unique. As they worked, they practiced creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills while learning to take pride in their work. It was wonderful to see students encouraging one another, sharing materials, and celebrating each other's creations.\r\n\r\nThese resources have also been used during small group activities to support social-emotional learning. Students have had opportunities to express their feelings, work collaboratively, and build positive relationships with their peers through hands-on projects.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue incorporating arts and crafts into lessons that promote creativity, teamwork, and self-expression.
